About Me
I am a Scottish actor, writer, director and cosplayer having worked on projects from short films in the Edinburgh International Film Festival to SA work with the BBC.
Up till now my most successful projects have included the publication of my children's book Mhairi McFluff and the Big Bad Bug, a nomination and screening of a couple of film productions which I wrote and directed - my biggest work being A Chorale in the Ocean and I have worked on set as an SA with the BBC, Amazon, Britbox and Sigma Films/Sony Pictures.
I was gifted the opportunity to write a murder mystery farce for a primary 7 school performance with a cast of 17 all about10 years old: The Mysterious Case of a Winter Night's Murder
My work as a cosplayer has grown in the past few years, starting with purchased costumes and ascending to making wigs and clothes from scratch! Cosplaying is a less recognized art, but one that consists of costume and makeup work as well as acting and modelling.
My photography work is primarily just a hobby, however my experience in photography has allowed me to transfer skills and knowledge to become a better cinematographer. I absolutely love taking portrait photos, my favourite, undeniably and unsurprisingly being cosplay photography.
