The Plot

DCI Frankin, a detective from 1977 is called in to solve the murder of a boy who is discovered in a small appartment in the middle of Birmingham. What is most unusual about this case is that the boy's attire is that of the 1940s and upon further investigation is discovered that he is an evacuee by the name of Oscar Franklin. With DCI Franklin solving the murder with unusual haste and ease it is clear that there is another reason for him being at the centre of this crime. With evidence spiraling from both the 40s and 70s, it becomes even more difficult to draw a line under what is the past and the present as DCI Franklin relentessly tries to find forgiveness from his dark past so that he can move on and solve the real crime.
