Lucy Heartfelia Cosplay
Lucy Heartfelia, from the hit anime tv series Fairy Tail was my first ever cosplay; I pulled the costume together for my first Comic Con visit in 2018. Whilst I didn't make this costume myself I did bring all the pieces together from lots of different places, with hours of research gone into the character's physique and weaponry.
The top, skirt and belt all came together, however I designed an ordinary blonde wig to fit Lucy's hairstyle and added a blue bow that was previously attached to a hairband. The lasso and celestial keys I purchased from anime websites so they were a direct match to the character's. The boots I ended up searching for hours on end to find a pair matching the same style, and whilst the pair I ended up with weren't identical, they were long black boots that I managed to redesign and style to the same as Lucy's.
At the convention I was asked for many photos, and each time I specialized it to the person's favourite celestial spirit as I pulled that key off my chain and used it to pose with.
